BlessChat is a free AI spiritual companion. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information We Collect
Anonymous chats: If you use BlessChat without an account, your conversation history is stored locally in your browser using localStorage.
Optional account data: If you choose to sign in, we collect your email address and authentication metadata needed to maintain your account.
Conversation content: Messages you send are processed to generate responses and may include sensitive spiritual or personal information you choose to share.
How Your Conversations Are Processed
BlessChat uses Google Gemini 2.0 Flash via the Google AI API to generate responses. Your messages and relevant conversation context are sent to Google for processing so the assistant can reply. Please avoid sharing highly sensitive information you do not want processed by third-party AI infrastructure.
Infrastructure and Storage Providers
Supabase: For signed-in users, Supabase stores account authentication records and synced conversation data for cross-device access.
Netlify: BlessChat is hosted on Netlify, which may collect standard server and CDN request logs (for example, IP address, user agent, and request metadata) for security and performance operations.
Cookies and Tracking
BlessChat does not currently use advertising trackers or tracking pixels. We only use essential browser storage and session mechanisms needed for authentication and core app functionality.
How We Use Information
- Provide and improve AI spiritual companion responses.
- Maintain chat history (locally for anonymous users, synced storage for signed-in users).
- Protect the service from misuse, abuse, and security threats.
- Operate and maintain platform reliability.
Data Sharing and Sales
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share personal data with advertisers. We only share data with service providers required to run BlessChat (such as Google AI API, Supabase, and Netlify) under their respective processing roles.
Retention and Deletion
Anonymous mode: Local conversation data stays in your browser until you clear it or use chat reset controls.
Signed-in mode: Synced conversations are retained until you delete them, close your account, or request deletion.

Children's Privacy
BlessChat is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
